Independence that makes a difference.
Here at PSTI we firmly believe that independence is a stepping stone to new opportunities. Our participants can achieve their dreams and goals successfully. With the support of friends and family, we can help everyone overcome any obstacle!
We want to help our participants build confidence so they feel comfortable being independent. Feeling confident in asking directions, going to college classes, learning a new hobby, and going on social outings makes a huge difference in our participant’s lives - and we love that!

Our Services
Independent Living Services
Independent Living Services (ILS) are designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities build the skills needed to live as independently as possible. Services are tailored to each person’s goals and may include support with daily routines, safety awareness, budgeting, hygiene, community access, and future planning. ILS focuses on teaching practical, real-world skills to increase self-sufficiency and confidence in the home and community.
Supportive Living Services
Supported Living Services (SLS) provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities who choose to live in their own home. These services are flexible and based on the person’s unique needs, preferences, and goals. Support may include help with daily living tasks, health and safety, transportation, household management, and community participation. SLS empowers individuals to make choices and maintain control over their lives while receiving the support they need to thrive.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach that focuses on understanding and improving behavior. ABA services help individuals learn meaningful skills, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living, while reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or independence. ABA programs are personalized and data-driven, with goals developed through assessments and delivered by trained behavior professionals in the home, school, or community.
Personal Assistance
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) provide hands-on support for individuals who need help with daily living activities due to a disability. This may include assistance with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, mobility, or accessing the community.
PAS is designed to respect the individual's preferences while supporting their health, safety, and participation in daily life.
